Admission Policy
To ensure fairness during the selection of our Kindergarten applicants, a lottery system will be used to select our incoming Kindergarten Class. After each application has been completed and received by January 15th of the preceding year, the name of the student will be entered into the lottery. Two individuals, a member of the Board of Trustees and an Administrator, are asked to select the names at random for the upcoming Kindergarten Class. The drawing will be held prior to January 30th of the preceding school year at an advertised public meeting where parents and community members may observe the process. After the initial student body of Kindergarteners is selected, a waiting list is drawn of the remaining applicants for this kindergarten class. Should a student selected not be able to attend, the school will go to the first name on the waiting list.
Enrollment priority is as follows:
A) Students enrolled in the preceding year at The Gray Chrater School
B) Siblings of currently enrolled students
C) Waiting List applicants for the current school year
